Bjork’s first album came out in 1977 when she was only 11 years old. There were a bunch of covers (Beatles, Stevie Wonder…) translated in Icelandic, plus a bunch of her own original material that her stepfather helped out with. The money she earned bought her a piano with which she started composing new songs of her own. [source]
